A few minutes, on purpose. Every video here will be chosen by you, not an algorithm.
We'll tailor content length and pace to suit
We'll set up playlists ready to go — with videos already in them where we have them. You can change everything after.
Here's what we've built for them
Optional, but worth two minutes — you can always change this later in Schedule.
High-stimulation content activates the brain — big hits, fast edits, excited voices. A Wind Down playlist gives it somewhere to land before real life resumes. Same principle as a cooldown after exercise — not just for bedtime, any time a session ends.
Wind Down works best as a consistent closing ritual — same playlist at the end of every session. Predictability is calming. Think of it like stretching after sport — the transition is doing as much work as the content.
Your Wind Down playlist plays through once and stops — no looping, no autoplay into something new. Volume tip: keep it lower than daytime. The brain responds to sound intensity even when kids seem zoned out.
This keeps your Parent Zone private. You'll enter it each time you access settings.
Add it to your home screen to improve your experience — instant access anytime, no browser bar, no searching for the link.
Add it to your home screen to improve your experience — takes about 10 seconds:
You've watched this playlist. Ask Mum or Dad what's next!
That's your watching time for this sitting. See you next time!

YouTube's recommendation engine doesn't know your child is two, or twelve, or that they just finished a meltdown. Every video in Wondereel was chosen by you — there's no "up next," no algorithm quietly deciding what comes on. You're the editor, not YouTube.
An endless feed is the whole problem, not something to recreate on a smaller scale. A finite, hand-picked library means your child finishes what's there and moves on to something else — the same as running out of tapes used to mean "go play outside," not "something's broken."
A finite, curated library sometimes means "my friends get more" — and that's worth being ready for, not avoiding.
You're not trying to prevent every tantrum. You're making sure you've got an answer ready the first time it happens, instead of caving because you didn't.
Staying firm here isn't you being the strict parent. It's you staying in control of what's shaping your child, and giving them a genuinely healthy environment to grow up in — one they'll thank you for, even if not today.
You're not the only parent doing this the hard way. Every Wondereel family is holding this same line, in a house somewhere, right now.
Permanently delete your account and data.
This permanently erases every child profile, playlist, and setting on this account — there's no way to undo it or get this data back.
Your login stays active, so you can sign back in later with the same email — but you'll start from a completely blank slate.
This decides which tagged playlists show up for this child. Nothing else changes.
Pick what to add. Nothing you've already got is touched.
How this works depends on the device being used:
Screen Mirroring sends your whole screen, not just the video — that's the only option Apple allows for iPhone and iPad, regardless of the TV.
Chromecast isn't supported on iPhone or iPad — but you can still mirror your screen to an Apple TV or AirPlay-compatible TV:
Creates a new global starter pack. Choose which playlists to include.
Give it a name and emoji — we'll set up some starter playlists for you to fill in
Tap any pack to add it to the current profile.
Tap to select — choose as many as you like, then tap Add Selected.
High-stimulation content activates the brain. A Wind Down playlist gives it somewhere to land — whether that's before dinner, homework, or sleep. Same principle as a physical cooldown after sport.
Same playlist at the end of every screen session. Predictability is calming for young brains — the routine signals the shift back to real life. Think of it like stretching after a run.
Keep it lower than the session before it. The brain responds to sound intensity even when kids seem zoned out — quieter signals the shift to calm.
Your Wind Down playlist plays through once and stops — no looping, no autoplay into something new. It's a deliberate full stop at the end of screen time, not a springboard into more.
Apple doesn't allow apps to add a "Share to Wondereel" option the way Android does — so on iPhone, it's two quick steps instead of one:
Paste a link — we validate it, you choose where it goes
At this time, whatever is playing will finish and Wind Down will start automatically.
Set a time window when selected passions or playlists are available to your child.
